Deployment

We Deploy Your App

To publish your custom branded app on the Google Play Store, your business needs its own Google Play Developer Account. This ensures you retain 100% ownership of your app, brand, user data, and store presence under your official business name. Follow this simple step-by-step guide to complete setup and grant access to the AI App Studio team.

Before You StartKeep these four things ready so setup runs without interruptions

  • A dedicated Google Accountuse a business address such as yourbrand@gmail.com rather than a staff member's personal account.
  • A valid credit or debit cardGoogle charges a $25 USD one-time registration fee at the end of signup.
  • A government-issued photo IDa passport or driver's license, clearly photographed and matching your registration details.
  • Business documentationyour D-U-N-S number and business registration, if you are signing up as an Organization.

Prepare Your Google AccountStep 1

Use your official business email, or create a dedicated Google Account for your brand. This account becomes the owner of your developer profile and every app published under it.

  • Pick a name your users would recognise, such as your business or product brand.
  • Turn on 2-Step Verification on the account before you begin signup.
  • Store the recovery email and phone number somewhere your business controls.
⚠️
Important

Always use an account you have permanent access to, as this will serve as the master account for your store listing.

Access Google Play ConsoleStep 2

Open the Play Console signup page and sign in with the business Google Account you just prepared.

Signup URL

If you are already signed in to a personal Google Account in your browser, open the link in a new profile or an incognito window so you do not register the wrong account by mistake.

Choose Your Account TypeStep 3

Google asks whether you are registering as an organization or as an individual. This choice decides the name shown on your store listing and whether Google requires a testing period before launch, so pick carefully. It cannot be changed easily later.

💡
Note

If your business is registered, choose the Organization account. It puts your brand name on the listing and skips Google's 14-day closed testing requirement.

Complete Google's VerificationStep 4

Google verifies every new developer before the account can publish. Have your documents open on your desk so you can finish this in one sitting.

  1. Enter your legal name, business address and contact phone number exactly as they appear on your documents.
  2. Upload your government-issued photo ID, or your official business registration documents for an Organization account.
  3. Enter the SMS code sent to your phone, then confirm the email verification link.
⚠️
Important

Mismatched details are the most common reason verification fails. The address on your ID or registration certificate must match what you type into the form, character for character.

Pay the Google Registration FeeStep 5

The final signup screen asks you to accept Google's terms and pay the registration fee.

  • Read and accept the Google Play Developer Distribution Agreement.
  • Pay the $25 USD one-time fee directly to Google with your card.
  • Save the receipt Google emails you, in case you need it for your business records.
💡
Note

This fee is paid directly to Google for lifetime account ownership and is separate from any AI App Studio services.

Complete Any Required Testing (Personal accounts only)Step 6 · Personal accounts only

If you registered a Personal account, Google requires a closed testing track before your app can go live. Organization accounts can skip this section entirely.

  • You need 12 testers who opt in to the closed test.
  • Those testers must stay opted in for 14 continuous days.
  • Only after that period can you apply for production access.

Staff members, existing customers and friends of the business all make good testers. They simply need a Google Account and an Android device.

How AI App Studio helps

If you use a Personal Account, the AI App Studio team will configure the testing track, upload test builds, and guide you on inviting your initial testers.

What the AI App Studio Team Will HandleStep 8

Once your invite is accepted, the technical publishing work moves to us. Here is what we take care of.

  • Compiling your Android app bundle (.aab) and signing the release.
  • Creating store listings, graphics, and app descriptions written for your audience.
  • Setting content ratings, questionnaires, data safety forms and privacy policies.
  • Submitting the app for Google's official review and live publication.
💡
Note

We share a preview of the store listing with you before submission, so nothing goes live under your brand without your approval.

Because the account holder is the legal publisher of the app. Having your own account means the listing carries your business name, the reviews and installs belong to you, and your user data stays under your control. If the app were published under someone else's account, you would be renting your own brand presence.

You do, completely. The app, its branding, its store listing and all user data sit inside your developer account. The AI App Studio team works inside your account as an invited collaborator, and you can remove that access whenever you choose.

No, and you should not. Google built the "Users and permissions" feature for exactly this situation. You invite support@chiefss.com as a user with specific permissions, and we sign in with our own credentials. Your password stays private.

Google charges a one-time registration fee of $25 USD. There is no annual renewal for Google Play. The fee is paid directly to Google during signup and is separate from any AI App Studio services.

Yes. Choose the Organization account type during signup and complete business verification. Your official business name is then displayed as the developer on the Play Store listing. A Personal account displays your personal legal name instead.

The AI App Studio team handles the publishing process inside your Play Console once you have granted access. You stay the account owner and approve the listing, while we do the technical upload, configuration and submission.

We compile and sign your Android app bundle, create the store listing with graphics and descriptions, complete the content rating questionnaire, data safety declarations and privacy policy links, set up release tracks, and submit the app for review. After launch we also push updates and new versions.

Most reviews finish within a few days. First submissions from a brand new developer account often take longer, up to about seven days, and sometimes more during busy periods. Personal accounts should also allow for the 14-day closed testing requirement before production access is granted.

Google sends the request to the email on your developer account, so forward it to us as soon as it arrives. We prepare the technical response, such as policy clarifications or updated declarations, and resubmit. Anything that relates to your identity or business documents has to be supplied by you, since it is tied to your account.
